Time To Shine

Entries from past Chambord Shine Awards
One of the fantastic competitions supporting emerging Australian designers is the Chambord Shine Awards. Past winners of the award include Aje, Carl Kapp, who just got picked up by David Jones, and Limedrop, who showed their first show at RAFW this year.

Chambord have just announced the 5 finalists for this year's Award: Saint Augustine Academy, Elliot Ward-Fear, Tato & Memi, Tali Roth and An Ode to No One. Each designer has been given $1,000 and 2 weeks to design two cocktail dresses.

For the first time in the competitions history Chambord will be teaming up with Australian chain store Seduce, giving the winner the chance to have their creations produced and sold in Seduce stores nationally. This not only offers a revenue opportunity for the winning designer, but access to invaluable marketing through Seduce's retail audience and marketing budget. The winner will also have their design featured in Seduce window displays for the whole of September.
