It's not everyday you get to shop while contributing to a worthy cause! With regular events such as fashion shows (e.g. Fashion for Relief), fashion auctions and designer initiatives (e.g. designer special one-off pieces) around the world, fashion has regularly been used to help raise money for those in need.
Witchery and the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF) have teamed up to once again raise money for ovarian cancer research by launching the White Shirt Campaign. Witchery have released a capsule collection of 3 white shirts for men and 7 shirts and a tote bag for women, with 100% of the profits of these going to support invaluable ovarian cancer research.
In Australian alone, one woman dies of ovarian cancer every ten hours due to late diagnosis. Witchery and the OCRF not only aim to raise aware about the disease, but hope to raise much needed funds to hopefully find a cure.
So what are you waiting for! With shirts hitting Witchery stores on 5th May 2011, make sure you get your white shirt in time to wear on White Shirt Day on 19th May 2011.
