Fashion Event: Kings Of Carnaby Melbourne Central Store Opening

Taking inspiration from the 1960's English mod era, designers Nick Tologlou and Michael Lamacchia started Melbourne based fashion label Kings of Carnaby which mixes features of the 1960's such as peterpan collars, pleats and tailored lines, with a Melbourne twist.

With the Australian fashion market becoming flooded with chain stores, Kings of Carnaby offers a unique look for those not wanting to follow the crowd. Using beautiful materials such as velvet, lace and warm wool blends, Tologlou and Lamacchia have create a beautiful classic product which has a timeless appeal.

With its original flagship store located in Prahran on the fashionable Greville Street, Kings of Carnaby have taken the plunge and opened a second store in Melbourne Central. The interior is reminiscent of a 1960's office, beautifully decked out with wooden floorboards and shelves, and leather covered seats, staying true to the Kings of Carnaby design aesthetic.

Guests were treated to Kings of Carnaby cupcakes from the newly opened Cupcake Central, Kings of Carnaby beer, champagne and live music.

Congratulations to Kings of Carnaby on their new store! Thanks to Nick and Michael for organising such a wonderful event.

Make sure you visit Kings of Carnaby at their new Melbourne Central store on the ground level, or at 2/160 Greville Street, Prahran.
